Intertek provides building products manufacturers with testing and certification of building envelope products such as:
- Fire doors and frames to NFPA 80, and positive pressure requirements and fire standards detailed in NFPA 252, CAN4-S104, UBC 7-2 (1994 & 1997), ISO 3008 and BS476 Part 22.
- Electrified and mechanical locks, hinges, latches, closers and exit devices to current certification programs, and national and international standards
- Roofing and hearth products, including wood, gas, corn and wood pellet-fired stoves
- Manufactured wood products to ASTM, CSA, UL, ULC and CCMC standards
- Faucet, valve, or plumbing fixture to safety, performance and health requirements, including ASTM, CSA, ANSI and NSF requirements, and a host of international provisions.
